A reinterpretation of the MA-1 jacket with a draped cocoon silhouette. Constructed from Linen Viera, a proprietary fabric developed with a local artisan specializing in traditional Japanese textile techniques. The process uses hand-friction methods to abrade the linen fibers, creating a wool-like density and tactile surface without chemical treatment. This yields a natural and soft cashmere-like texture that allows for both breathability and warmth.

The voluminous silhouette is engineered through dropped shoulder seams positioned toward the back shoulder line rather than at the natural shoulder point. This construction shifts visual weight rearward, creating a streamlined front profile while allowing excess fabric to drape from the shoulders down. The cocoon shape envelops the upper body with structured volume—roomiest through the chest and sleeves before tapering at the ribbed hem.
