Noé Reverse Fatigue Jacket in Wool/Linen
Description
50% Wool / 50% Linen
A military-inspired fatigue jacket rooted in 1970s field coat archetypes, reinterpreted through refined materiality and integrated carry systems. Parachute buttons and metal stud closures provide secure fastening. Reinforced bartack stitching at stress points distributes tension across the fabric structure rather than concentrating force along individual thread lines.
An integrated bondage strap system allows the jacket to function as wearable cargo. The detachable straps can be configured for either backpack-style or single-shoulder carry. Interior cord loops sewn into the side seams provide anchor points that keep the strap ends hanging vertically when not in use, preventing fabric bunching or unwanted folds. Three interior welt pockets sized for everyday carry distribute weight across the lining structure without creating exterior bulk or disrupting the clean shell surface.
The jacket is constructed from a dense wool-linen blend with a natural sheen derived from linen’s smooth fiber surface. The wool content provides insulation, shape retention, and wrinkle recovery, while linen adds breathability, moisture-wicking properties, and structural crispness. The jacket is fully lined in garment-dyed crinkled organic cotton—a pre-textured lining fabric with a permanent crinkled texture that adds tactile and visual depth.
