A reinterpretation of the MA-1 bomber with a cocoon silhouette. The jacket is constructed from calfskin treated through a controlled drawing process—a form of mechanical manipulation that stretches and compresses localized areas of the hide to create an irregular surface topography. This technique introduces intentional wrinkling and textural variation that mimic naturally aged leather without compromising the hide’s fiber structure or durability. The result is an authentic worn-in appearance achieved through surface treatment rather than chemical breakdown.

The voluminous silhouette is engineered through dropped shoulder seams positioned toward the rear of the shoulder rather than at the natural shoulder point. This construction shifts the visual weight rearward, creating a streamlined front profile while allowing additional volume to drape from the shoulders. The cocoon shape envelops the upper body with structured volume—roomiest through the chest and sleeves before tapering at the ribbed hem.
