Kira Leather Drape Blouson in Deerskin
Description
Deerskin
A 1970s flight jacket–inspired leather blouson constructed from New Zealand deerskin—a hide prized for its exceptional softness, fine grain structure, and natural elasticity. The deerskin is skived to a thickness of 1.5 mm, reducing the hide to near-fabric weight while preserving its inherent strength and abrasion resistance.
The jacket is lined in mercerized organic cotton and insulated with natural hemp wadding developed in Seeboden, Austria. Hemp fiber provides thermal regulation without bulk: the hollow fiber structure traps air for warmth while remaining lightweight and compressible.
The blouson features three-dimensional pocket construction engineered through panel articulation and strategic seam placement. Pockets are built outward from the body through curved pattern pieces rather than sewn-on additions, creating balloon-like volume that integrates seamlessly with the garment structure. This construction maintains pocket shape and capacity while allowing the blouson to move fluidly with the body.
Model is 187cm/6.1 ft wearing size 46
