Kira Drape Blouson in Vintage Cotton

A 1970s flight jacket–inspired blouson crafted from deadstock vintage cotton. The blouson is constructed from organic cotton processed through a multi-cycle garment wash that mechanically softens the fibers while preserving tensile strength. The treatment produces an authentic worn-in hand feel and subtle variations in surface texture. Natural slub irregularities inherent to vintage-style cotton spinning create tonal depth and visual variation across each garment.

The blouson features three-dimensional pocket construction engineered through panel articulation and strategic seam placement. Pockets are built outward from the body through curved pattern pieces rather than sewn-on additions, creating balloon-like volume that integrates seamlessly with the garment structure. This construction maintains pocket shape and capacity while allowing the blouson to move fluidly with the body. Two expandable Riri fasteners are placed on each sleeve, with an additional fastener on the chest pocket.
